AHF Nurse Practitioner - Genital Herpes Study 2003

The American Herpes Foundation (AHF) interviewed 15 nurse practitioners (NPs) selected at random from a group of 61 respondents to our initial needs assessment survey instrument, which was distributed in February 2003 at a women's health conference in Philadelphia, Pa. Results from the initial questionnaire were used to help focus the interview guides. Interviewees participated in a brief 15-minute interview that covered basic clinical practice as it relates to genital herpes screening and management. Interviewees were not compensated for participation. The report summarizes our findings.
