Herpesvirus Teaching Slide Kit

The American Herpes Foundation developed the Herpesvirus Teaching Slide Kit in July 2003 with the help of the nation's leading authorities in herpes simplex virus, varicella zoster virus, and cytomegalovirus infections. It is specifically designed for use in obstetrics, gynecology, and pediatric residency training programs and can be taught in sequence or as individual teaching units.

Links to the Course Overview Booklet, which includes a complete course bibliography, and the Course Overview are included below.

To order your free copy** of the CD-ROM slide kit, please call the American Herpes Foundation at (201) 342-4441 or email us.

Would you like to receive free updates* of the slide kit?
Tell us what you think by completing and faxing the slide kit evaluation, and we will include you in future mailings.

**This offer is available only to medical residency directors and clinicians.

Regional Educational Initiatives

The AHF Regional Educational Initiatives are intended to reach key audiences for herpes simplex virus information such as:

  • primary care physicians
  • general practitioners
  • family practitioners
  • internal medicine specialists
  • obstetricians
  • gynecologists
  • nurse practitioners
  • physician assistants

Our regional programs are offered in those areas of the country with a particularly high incidence of herpesvirus infections. Our focus is to reach those healthcare providers attending major medical conventions and professional society meetings.
