The American Herpes Foundation (AHF) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing information and clinical education about genital herpes and other herpesvirus related disease.

Visitors will find information about the prevention, diagnosis and management of genital herpes (HSV-1 and HSV-2) infections, Epstein-Barr virus infections, CMV infections, varicella zoster virus infections, and human herpesvirus 6 and human herpesvirus 8 infections in affected patients.

Our offerings include CME accredited publications, teaching slide kits, and links to other online herpes resources.

All of our educational materials are provided free of charge to clinicians.

Information is also included on type-specific serologic testing for HSV infections and herpesvirus infections in the immunocompromised patient.
